7 Moments Pete Buttigieg Made Us 🏳️🌈Proud🏳️🌈 (Victory Fund Email)
For the first time, Pete Buttigieg hits #1 in Iowa! This is according to a new Monmouth Poll. IN this post we’ll collect news coverage and responses (positive ones!) to the new poll.
This part of the poll shows that the percentage of people with an opinion about Buttigieg (this is, name recognition) has grown from 54% in April to 83% now. This is thanks to ads, press, and retail campaigning in the state.

I’m retrofitting this post because I didn’t realize Sept 21 was “Day 1” of the bus tour until later!
The tour started at the Polk County Steak Fry. The second stop was the People’s Presidential Forum, hosted by Iowa Citizens for Community Improvement Action Fund. The press were on the bus and had full access to question Pete between stops. I’ll post the results here as I find them.Read More
The reporters are calling this “Day 3” of the 4 day press tour. I suppose that means the Steak Fry was day 1. Though I don’t recall must coverage from inside the bus that day. ANYWAY. Here we are on a new day on the bus. This blog post will collect photos, tweets, questions, and videos.Read More
I was super stoked to see Pete’s bus! Way back in the spring, Pete’s Senior Communications Director, Lis Smith, hinted that they might do a press bus similar to the one John McCain had when he ran in 2000. For a long time that tantalizing possibility was not followed up on. But now…. WE HAVE A PETE BUS!
This post has tons of photos, short videos, and tweets from Pete’s bus press tour. Click to view.Read More
The Polk County Steak Fry is a democratic tradition. The candidates all gather and makes speeches to a large, mixed crowd. Today’s Steak Fry drew over 12,000 people—the largest in the event’s history. This event is a way for candidates to show the strength of their organizing game because they will need to draw out supporters to caucus for the election. Pete Buttigieg had the largest, most enthusiastic group according to the media and attendees. See tons of videos and photos of the day under “READ MORE”.Read More

Saturday, Sept 7, 2019 was a HUGE day for Pete and Chasten in New Hampshire. There were multiple stops, office openings, Vote Vets, and the New Hampshire Dem Convention with many other Dem candidates on hand.

And yet another new NH office opening…. A local posts that this is the first time they have ever had a candidate open an office in this small NH town.
While Pete has a jam-packed schedule in iowa today, Chasten is in New Hampshire kicking off the new push there. I’ll do a separate post since both will likely generate lots of photos and video.
