@JoeBiden’s warm words about @PeteButtigieg mean a lot to me as someone who sees how special Buttigieg is, and they signal that Biden intends to run this race as the captain of a big team. He’s reaching out and being inclusive, which is what Buttigieg’s campaign was all about.

The purpose of this meeting was to allow South Bender leaders to tell their story. Below is an video edited to feature their stories and cut out the “protest”.

Today, four black leaders in South Bend held a press conference to endorse Pete Buttigieg for president. Unfortunately, some protesters (who were later outted on SM as lead by a Bernie bro) interrupted, pulling the mic from Sharon Mcbride, Council Representative for the 3rd district.

As poorly as this stunt came across, it’s a shame that the theatrics overwhelmed the message of these South Benders. So give it a watch to the video above. These people have worked with Pete for years and know him best. And he has their full support.
