The Beat with Ari Melber starts a new “Backstory” series profiling 2020 candidates. Pete is first up. The focus is almsot completely on how Pete previously ran for (and lost) DNC Chair and how unusual it is for him to then run for a much higher office (president). But Ari compares that to Obama who had lost a race before running for something higher. The focus is more heavily on Obama than Pete.
